This piece was designed and hand crafted by the artisans at Kinne's Jewelers by the Lost Wax Casting process. the casting process was developed in the late 4th millennium. A wax model is made then put into a single-use investment plaster mold. The mold is heated in a kiln and the "wax is lost" leaving a perfect form or cavity. Then by flinging molten metal from a rotating center outward into the mold the piece is cast into metal.
